Instant Answers

In the mail last week, I got a copy of The Instant Manager from Cy Charney. The subtitle is "More than 100 Quick Tips & Techniques for Great Companies". The book seemed very generic to me and I have decided that is what make the book appealing. This is not Bob Nelson giving you 1000 Ways to Reward Your Employees or Pat Lencioni talking about Death by Meeting[s]. This is Charney spending two or three pages on 83 different topics ranging from absenteeism to writing skills. It is a reference guide to get you started in the right direction.
