A New Ad Book Classic?
Adweek is asking in their front page poll "Which of the following new books has the best chance at becoming the next Confessions of an Advertising Man by David Ogilvy?"
Your choices are:
- Often Wrong, Never In Doubt by Donny Duetsch (I think you know where we stand)
- Disruption by Jean-Marie Dru (this is a Tom Peters favorite)
- Then We Set His Hair On Fire by Phil Dusenberry (liked it alot)
- Purple Cow by Seth Godin (a classic)
- Life After The 30-Second Spot by Joe Jaffe (review copy in mail)
- Lovemarks by Kevin Roberts (lots of pretty pictures)
- None of the Above (the correct answer)

Todd,
I would probably say none of the above myself, being a huge David Ogilvy fan.
That said, my belief is that once someone reads my book, they might think otherwise :) I'll look forward to your thoughts once you've read it (please do e-mail me with your review)
Joe
