A few weeks ago, I had a great conversation with Dave Balter, founder of BzzAgent and author of Grapevine: The New Art of Word of Mouth Marketing. We covered everything form why influentials are not as important as people think to why negative feedback can be just as important as positive.

We talk about Butterfly Economics by Paul Omerod at the beginning of the podcast.

Justin Menkes Interview

As a part of our Boss's Week activities, I interview Justin Menkes, author of Executive Intelligence. He says that people confuse knowledge with intelligence. Executive intelligence boils down to three things:

  1. Accomplishing Tasks
  2. Engaging Others
  3. Ability to Evaluate One's Own Decision

We talk about how the brain really isn't designed for executive intelligence and that behavior based interviewing only gets you part of the way there.
